WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
For all products other than loose diamonds and concierge products, we accept returns within 14 days of your receipt date, with the following conditions:
- All returns or exchanges must be unused and in their original condition with tags, box and receipt.
- If you return a gift, you will be given a credit to our store in the amount paid by the purchaser.
Please use the following steps to ensure a safe and speedy return.
- Pack and seal your box securely in the original package, if possible.
- Contact us to be emailed a return label. Your refund will be reduced by a $20 shipping fee.
- Send the merchandise back using shipping label.
- Credits for returned items will be issued in the same form as originally paid within 5-7 business days from receipt.
Loose diamonds: 14 day return policy. Please ensure we receive the product back within this time period in order to process your refund.
Custom orders via Concierge Service: Made to order custom pieces are non-refundable.
DO YOU HAVE A DIAMOND UPGRADE PROGRAM?
- All GIA or EGL graded diamonds purchased from Ounce of Salt Jewelry are eligible.
- You will receive credit equal to 100% of the original price toward the purchase of a new diamond.
- The price of your new diamond must be at least twice the price of your original diamond.
- Your diamond must be in its original condition with the original diamond grading report.
- Any damage to the original diamond will disqualify the diamond from our upgrade program.
HOW DO I MEASURE MY RING SIZE?
Ring sizes, especially on eternity bands, need to be precise. We recommend purchasing an online inexpensive metal ring sizer similar to the width of the ring you’re interested in to measure your size.
*If you are between sizes, order a larger size. Make sure your finger is at normal body temperature (fingers shrink or expand when cold or hot). If your knuckle is much larger than your finger’s base, take two separate measurements and choose a size in between.
WHAT ARE YOUR SHIPPING FEES?
Complimentary ground shipping in the US.
Delivery within 5-7 days of the shipping date. Expedited delivery is available for a fee (see information at check out).
WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED? WHEN WILL IT ARRIVE?
All standard packages will be shipped within three business days. You will receive an e-mail confirmation once your order has shipped.
WHAT'S THE STATUS OF MY ORDER? HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?
Once you have placed an order, you can check the status at any time. Once an order has shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation email that will contain your tracking information.
DO YOU OFFER APPRAISALS SO I CAN GET MY PURCHASE INSURED?
We offer an independent jewelry appraisal certificate upon request. Fee is $150 – please inquire at email@example.com
IF I SEND MY PACKAGE AS A GIFT, WILL THE RECIPIENT RECEIVE THE INVOICE?
Your gift recipient will not have the price detailed in their packaging.
ARE PURCHASES ON THIS WEBSITE TAX FREE?
We are required by law to charge and collect taxes on products that we sell. Such taxes are charged based on the tax laws applicable to the location to which the order is being shipped or delivered. At checkout, all appropriate taxes will be added to the order total.
IS ORDERING OVER THE INTERNET SECURE?
Yes. Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption is used for every transaction in order to ensure that your order is secure. SSL encrypts the transmissions from our ecommerce servers as well as your computer. SSL encryption works by forming a matched pair with the transmission from your computer transmission and our server, so that only data to and from these sources can be valid.
WHEN WILL MY CREDIT CARD BE REFUNDED?
Once your package has been received, your refund or exchange will be processed within 5-7 business days. A credit will be issued in the original form of payment.
The credit may not show up until your credit card’s next monthly billing cycle. You will be notified via email to the email address listed on your order when the transaction has taken place. Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from us.
